Harold Ezell “Pat” Conner, Sr., 94, of Savannah, Georgia and widower of Myra Runette Cowart Conner, died Wednesday morning, June 2, 2021, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Leon Harold Conner and the late Margaret Elizabeth Bowen Conner. Mr. Conner was a United States Army veteran. He retired as a Deputy Director of Supply at Hunter/Fort Stewart. Mr. Conner enjoyed spending time with his family, and he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener.
In addition to his wife of 50 years and his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Rauch; a son-in-law, Robert “Bobby” James III, and a brother, Lemuel “Hoagie” Vannie Conner.
Surviving are his daughter, Nancy James; his son, Harold “Hal” E. Conner, Jr.; a son-in-law, Gary Rauch; a grandson, John “Johnny” Bill Rowe III and his wife, Tanya; a great-grandson, Jackson Rowe, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 noon Monday, June 7, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 Monday afternoon, June 7, 2021, at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
